New Work

I'm a little late in posting this week but I wanted you to see what I finished last week.

I finished another "Arctic Christmas". This one is the seventh in an edition of eight. I will only be creating one more in this edition. This Santa is SOLD.




I also created this 24" wreath. The Santa face is quite large. The wreath is decorated in pinecones, berries and ribbon. This wreath is SOLD but I will be creating three more wreaths in the next few weeks.


This week I am working on my special edition piece for the Holiday Open House on December 6th at Village Artisans where I will be the Artist in Action. Check back to get a sneak peak!!

Two Santas Completed

Another week has passed and I have two more Santas to post.

The first Santa is "Christmas Cookies". I introduced this Handsculpted Artist Edition of six last year and it nearly sold out. This is the last one I will create in this edition. "Christmas Cookies" stands approximately 25" tall to the top of his hat. His cookie and cookie dough are handmade. This Santa is SOLD.

The second is "Olde World Santa". I introduced this Handsculpted Artist Edition a few years ago. This is the 9th in an edition of 12. This Santa stands approximately 22" high. He carries a birch bark bag of toys over his shoulder and a Christmas Tree. All of the walking sticks for this edition are handmade by my husband, Forrest. This Santa is available.

Latest Santas

Hello! Christmas is quickly approaching!!!!
I'm going to do my best to post what I am working on at least on a weekly basis.

I just finished two Santas for a shop in Carmel, California called The Mole Hole of Carmel. The first is "Arctic Christmas" from my Handsculpted Artist Editions. This is the sixth in the edition, only two more will be created.
The second Santa is a one-of-a-kind titled "Christmas Flight". This 17" Santa is seated on a wooden rocking airplane.


I'm working on several more Santas that will be at Village Artisans on December 6th when I am there for their Holiday Open House so keep checking back!!!

Three Witches



Introducing Helga, Lucinda and Wacky Wanda

Wacky Wanda

Wacky Wanda is casting spells wherever she goes.
Wanda is a one-of-a-kind witch. Standing on her base she measures 20" to the top of her hat. Her face is handsculpted from polymer clay and she has auburn eyes and wild multi-colored marabou hair.Dressed in a Halloween print cotton blouse and black skirt with purple lining. Her shawl is hand dyed imported European lace.
Wanda's outfit wouldn't be complete without her orange and black bloomers and purple striped stockings. Her shoes are handsculpted from polymer clay complete with grommets and laces.She holds a potion bottle in one hand and her pocket size spell book in the other. She also carries a basket of potion bottles.
She stands on a mosaic base decorated with black, orange and purple opalescent glass.

Lucinda

I bet you couldn't guess that Lucinda's favorite color is lavender!!!
Dressed in her finest she is ready for the Hallow's Eve Ball. Lucinda is a one-of-a-kind witch. Standing on her base she measures 23" to the top of her hat.



Her skirt is purple satin fabric with black flocked moons and stars. Her black blouse is embellished with black tulle with purple glitter to match her shawl. Her hat is purple velvet. Lucinda's face is handsculpted from polymer clay. She has lavender eyes and her hair is black Tibetan wool with white tips.
She has a purple netting underskirt, purple cotton print bloomers trimmed in black lace and black and purple striped stockings. Her shoes are handsculpted from polymer clay complete with silver buckles.
She holds a handmade paper mache Cat Marotte that has been embellished with black glitter.
She carries her finest purple broom to complete her outfit.She has a mosaic base decorated with silver, black and purple opalescent glass.

Helga the Harvest Witch

Helga's favorite time of year is fall when pumpkins and gourdes are in season!Helga is a one-of-a-kind witch. Standing on her base she measures 21" to the top of her hat. Helga's face is sculpted from polymer clay and has green eyes and gray wool hair.

Dressed in her favorite autumn attire she wears a coordinated blouse, skirt and pinafore all made of cotton. She is coordinated right down to her stockings and bloomers.Her boots are handsculpted from polymer clay compete with grommets and laces. She stands on a wooden base that holds an additional pumpkin and gourd for her to hold. Her basket contains various gourds, pumpkins and berries.
