Special Edition Candy Container

You might recall I mentioned a few weeks ago that I would be the featured Artist at The Village Artisans Gallery in Boiling Springs, PA on Sunday, December 6th from 12 noon - 4pm.

I created a special edition Santa Candy Container just for the event.
Here is a sneak peak!!!!

Each Santa Candy Container measures 14" high.
I cast the Santa heads and boots in resin from my original sculptures. Eyes are hand painted. Each holds a jingle bell and is dressed in a burgundy wool coat trimmed in ivory mohair (recycled from a vintage coat) that has been dusted with mica flakesThe top of the Santa lifts off to expose a container that holds candy.
I created 8 for the event.

Three Wreaths

I just competed three wreaths. Each wreath measures approximately 24". The handsculpted Santa faces measures approximately 7" wide by 12" long from the top of his hat to the bottom of his beard.

I love sculpting these large Santa faces!!!

The wreath below has red accents to match the red tapestry hat the Santa wears. Santa has blue glass eyes and mink trim on his hat. Three large bells are incorporated into the wreath to compliment the bell on the Santa's hat. This wreath is currently available.

This wreath sparkles with crystalized stems and gold berries. Pinecones and ribbon can also be found. Santa has green glass eyes and mink trim on his hat. This wreath is currently available.

This wreath has accents of gold. The Santa has violet eyes and mink trim on his tapestry hat. Berries, pinecones, leaves and ribbons accent the wreath. This wreath is SOLD.

At the Circus

I finished "At the Circus" last week but only had a chance to photograph him yesterday. He is the second in an edition of four and stands 18 1/2" high to the top of his hat. This Santa is available.

Two Santas Completed

Another week has passed and I have two more Santas to post.

The first Santa is "Christmas Cookies". I introduced this Handsculpted Artist Edition of six last year and it nearly sold out. This is the last one I will create in this edition. "Christmas Cookies" stands approximately 25" tall to the top of his hat. His cookie and cookie dough are handmade. This Santa is SOLD.

The second is "Olde World Santa". I introduced this Handsculpted Artist Edition a few years ago. This is the 9th in an edition of 12. This Santa stands approximately 22" high. He carries a birch bark bag of toys over his shoulder and a Christmas Tree. All of the walking sticks for this edition are handmade by my husband, Forrest. This Santa is available.

Latest Santas

Hello! Christmas is quickly approaching!!!!

I just finished two Santas for a shop in Carmel, California called The Mole Hole of Carmel. The first is "Arctic Christmas" from my Handsculpted Artist Editions. This is the sixth in the edition, only two more will be created.
The second Santa is a one-of-a-kind titled "Christmas Flight". This 17" Santa is seated on a wooden rocking airplane.

I'm working on several more Santas that will be at Village Artisans on December 6th when I am there for their Holiday Open House so keep checking back!!!
